Overview

Islamic lectures and reminders help a mosque remain spiritually alive beyond the prayer times. They create space for reflection, questions, family guidance, youth development, and practical reminders about worship and character.

Alafia Central Mosque is building a learning culture that speaks to real community needs while remaining rooted in the Qur'an, Sunnah, and sound scholarship. Topics may include purification, prayer, fasting, charity, family life, youth identity, good manners, community responsibility, and preparation for Ramadan, Hajj, and Umrah.

A good lecture programme should not feel distant or academic only. It should help people leave with something they can practise: a dua to make, a habit to improve, a sin to leave, a family relationship to repair, or a service to offer for Allah's sake.

Visitors are welcome to attend, learn, ask questions respectfully, and share beneficial reminders with family and friends. As the mosque's educational content grows, selected notes, recordings, and learning resources can be published for those unable to attend in person.
