Why this mosque was established

The legacy behind Alafia Central Mosque is gratitude made visible: worship of Allah, dua for parents, and service to people.

Alafia Central Mosque was established from a place of gratitude: gratitude to Almighty Allah, and gratitude for parents whose love, sacrifice, patience, and guidance shaped the lives that came after them.

To honour parents is not only to remember them with words. It is to ask Allah to have mercy on them, to continue good works on their behalf, and to build something that helps people worship, learn, give, and serve.

This mosque is intended as a sadaqah jariyah: a continuing charity where every prayer, every child who learns Qur'an, every family supported, and every act of service becomes part of a living legacy.
